2022 Audi RS 5 Sportback (2.9L V6) | Exhaust Notes
Headphones in, volume up. Have a listen to the new 2022 RS 5 with its 2.9L twin-turbo V6 and new exhaust system. Sounds good doesn't it? Audi seems to have remedied our main concern of the last 2016 RS 5 we drove, in that its vocals were too sterile. Now it roars to the limiter, burbles on overrun, and spits outs angry noises on hard downshifts. A rather pleasant and engaging noise for a V6, though it sounds almost identical to the Porsche Macan GTS, which oh-so-coincidentally uses the same V6 powertrain. Looks like he did in sport+. And you’re right! Race has less pops, but keeps low gears and takes off right away. If you doing paddles, S+ is the way to go.

@CanadianAutoReview I just drove 500 miles to test drive a 2019 svr based off this video and it wasn't even close to sounding like this. All the pops and crackles were gone, even in sport mode. Any idea why your review vehicle still sounded like the MY18?
I can tell just by the arms the driver is Chinese.
I'm super blessed to own a 2018 model year P340 manual and it's an amazing car, perfect for bendy roads and to have fun around town.
